What I've Been Making

T-Shirt necklaces, I love them so easy to wear, light and comfortable they make a great statement piece. Some are embellished with doilies or lace pieces and some embellished with hand cut felted wool circles. I also do plain ones which look fabulous doubled around your neck or knotted. A large range of these just hit Shop Handmade. Starting at $20 that is good value to ease yourself into the your new season wardrobe.

In the shop Cufflinks have music and map images for $45, but they can be customised with his initials, his favorite cities of the world or photos of the kids for $60. Very unique and my 19 year old loved the music ones, so suitable for a wide range of ages.

Ribbon Packs are available at Shop Handmade along with Ribbon by the metre, over two hundred ribbons to choose from. As you can see I have been creative, love it!

Thanks for stopping by.

New Venture

Have just revamped my Dad's old wooden ladder (with the help of my Dad) to become a ribbon display. It was so much fun decoupaging the ladder shelf and 2 wooden crates with pages from a 1957 dressmaking magazine. The ladder is now sitting at Shop Handmade in Canberra looking ready to offer ribbons by the metre. This is all part of the new creative space in the shop. Helping people get crafty. There are workshops scheduled for more information take a look at Shop Handmade's website.
